Play. Develop. Belong

Our History

Our story began in 1978 as the Mandurang Junior Football Club, known as the “Rangas”, with just one team.

As the Strathfieldsaye community grew, the club grew with it. After becoming the Mandurang/Strathfieldsaye Junior Football Club, the club officially adopted the name Strathfieldsaye Junior Football Club in 2003.

By 2009, we had grown to eight teams and also celebrated another major milestone, establishing our own home grounds and clubrooms after years of work by dedicated club volunteers.

Today, Strathfieldsaye Storm Senior/Junior FC continues to bring together players, families, volunteers and supporters, building on a proud history.

Our Teams

The Strathfieldsaye Storm proudly fields teams across a range of age groups, including:

• Under 9/10 Mixed

• Under 12 Boys

• Under 12 Girls

• Under 14 Boys

• Under 15 Girls

• Under 16 Boys

From the Rangas to the Storm

While much has changed since 1978, the club's commitment to junior football, community spirit, and player development remains as strong as ever. From the Rangas of old to the Storm of today, we continue to provide a positive and inclusive environment where young people can learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Play. Develop. Belong.

These three words capture what the Strathfieldsaye Storm is all about. We strive to create a club where every player has the opportunity to play with confidence, develop their skills and character, and feel a true sense of belonging within our football community.
